Homeowners
HO3
The HO3 is an all perils policy, covering your home and personal property, protecting against such risks as fire, wind, lightning, etc. This policy covers your home for its replacement value. Other coverages included in this homeowners policy are other structures, personal property, and the loss of use of your home until it can reasonably be repaired. It also includes personal liability coverage and medical payments to others. Please contact us to discuss any optional coverages that you may need.

HO8
The HO8 is a named-peril policy protecting against risks such as Fire or Lightning, Windstorm, Hurricane & Hail, Explosion, Riot or Civil Commotion, Aircraft & Vehicles, Sudden & Accidental Damage from Smoke, Vandalism or Malicious Mischief, Theft. Other coverages included in this homeowners policy are other structures, personal property, and loss of use of your home until it can reasonably be repaired. It also includes personal liability coverage and medical payments to others. Please contact us to discuss any optional coverages that you may need.

The HO8 is usually sold to owners of older properties when it is not possible to insure the risk for replacement value. This policy covers your home for its actual cash value. Replacement cost coverage may be purchased for an additional premium.

Condominiums
HO6
The HO6 provides coverage to condominium unit owners. Incidental rental of the condo is allowed as long as the owner occupies the unit for four months each year. This policy covers your contents and permanently attached building items inside the condo unit. Other coverages are available for personal property and loss of use of your condo until it can reasonably be repaired. It also includes personal liability coverage and medical payments to others. Please contact us to discuss any optional coverages that you may need.

Renters/Tenants
HO4
Although you may be renting a property, your home is susceptible to the same hazards and risks as any other. Many tenants live in the mistaken belief that their landlord’s insurance provides coverage for their personal possessions; in reality, it is only the buildings that are covered. This is why more and more people are taking out renters and tenant’s home insurance (also known as HO-4 insurance). In addition to offering protection against theft of contents, renters/tenants property insurance coverage offers protection against the accidents that could damage the building and its contents.

Personal Umbrella
A Personal Umbrella policy is helpful in protecting you and your family’s assets from a catastrophic liability loss. The product offers excess liability limits over your primary policy, such as auto, homeowners, watercraft, etc. Therefore, this coverage is also known as excess liability insurance. Limits of up to $2m can be purchased above your primary limit.

Personal Auto
A personal auto insurance policy is a package of several primary coverages. Your premium payment is the total of these separate coverages for a given period of time. The coverages are as follows:

  • Bodily injury liability coverage – pays for bodily injury or death resulting from an accident for which you are at fault and provides you with a legal defense.
  • Property damage liability coverage – provides you with protection if your car accidentally damages another person's property. It also provides you with a legal defense.
  • Medical payments, no-fault or personal injury coverage – usually pays for the medical expenses of the driver and passengers in your car incurred as a result of a covered accident regardless of fault.
  • Uninsured motorist coverage – pays for your injuries and, in some circumstances, certain property damage caused by an uninsured or a hit-and-run driver. In some cases, underinsured motorist coverage is also included. This is for cases in which the at-fault driver has insufficient insurance.
  • Comprehensive physical damage coverage – pays for damage to your car from theft, vandalism, flood, fire, and other covered perils.
  • Collision coverage – pays for damage to your car when it hits or is hit by another object.

Flood
Standard homeowner policies do NOT include coverage for flood. A Flood policy protects your home and belongings from direct physical loss caused by flood or rising water. Limitations, exclusions and conditions apply. Only a careful reading of the policy form itself can adequately describe what is covered and what is not. It is highly recommended that you have an annual coverage review with your agent to ensure that you are adequately protected.

Dwelling Fire Policy
DP3
The DP3 provides coverage to seasonal, secondary, or rental properties. This form covers one to four family homes or condominium units.  Since many of the common homeowner coverages are not needed on rental properties, the DP3 modular format allows you to save money by purchasing only the coverage that you need. In the event that you wish to purchase additional coverages, we can offer cover for other structures, personal property, and loss of use of your home until it can reasonably be repaired. It also offers personal liability coverage and medical payments to others. Please contact us to discuss any optional coverages that you may need.
